We talked about enterprise digitalization, which is a huge topic. According to research data, only 12% of enterprises undergoing digital transformation have successfully transformed. This is a very low percentage, and we are talking about digital marketing today.
At the same time, I also bring some of my own observations and practices Number List to share, hoping to resonate with everyone.
1. Not all businesses are suitable for digitalization
We hope that enterprises will have this understanding and not do digital transformation just to follow suit. Many enterprises often do not even distinguish clearly between informatization and digitization.
Informatization ≠ Digitization
Before 2015, we came into contact with more traditional software with internal information management as the core; after 2015, from the transformation of traditional software to more SaaS vendors, it is obvious that we focus on internal business and business innovation, and focus on Customer and business growth as the core management.
Informatization focuses on static processing of data, and more on record analysis. Informatization expects to achieve standardized management of enterprise business processes through informatization means. ERP, OA, and CRM are all early informatization tools.
In the informationization stage, it is more about the human management system.
Digitization focuses on the dynamic processing of existing data and how it affects business management. Starting from digitization, data has become active, and data can be used to drive business optimization and innovative development. Such as BI analysis, industrial digitalization, etc.
